What destinations do you have Franko fish ID cards for?

We carry Franko waterproof fish ID cards for over 60 dive and snorkel destinations worldwide, including the Caribbean (Cozumel, Cayman Islands, Bonaire, Roatan, Turks and Caicos, Aruba, Curacao, Jamaica, Cuba, Barbados, Bahamas, and more), Hawaii (Maui, Big Island, Kauai, Oahu, and Hawaiian Islands overview), the Pacific (Palau, Fiji, Bora Bora, Micronesia, Galapagos, Solomon Islands, Cocos Island), Indo-Pacific (Bali, Philippines, Maldives), the Pacific Coast of North America (Puget Sound, California Kelp Forest, Northwest Coast), Central America (Costa Rica Caribbean and Pacific, Panama, Belize, Honduras), and the Indian Ocean. Are the Franko fish ID cards actually waterproof?

Yes — Franko cards are printed on rigid waterproof plastic rather than laminated paper. They do not absorb water, do not soften when wet, and do not delaminate at the edges from repeated submersion. They can be used underwater while diving or snorkeling, tucked into a BCD pocket, or under a wetsuit cuff. They are available in two sizes: a standard larger format and a mini (4 x 6 inch) compact format that fits more easily in a BCD pocket or wetsuit sleeve. The mini format is the most practical for in-water use; the larger format is better for reviewing at the surface or using as a reference at the hotel.

What is the difference between a Franko fish ID card and a Franko dive map?

A Franko fish ID card focuses on marine life identification — it illustrates the common fish and reef creatures found at a specific destination, organized by species family, with common names. Some fish ID cards also include a small site overview map. A Franko dive map is a larger format waterproof fold-up map focused primarily on dive site locations — it shows the geography of the destination, marks specific dive and snorkel sites by name, indicates depth ranges, and includes marine life illustrations as a secondary feature. If you are going to a new destination and want to know where the dive sites are and how to navigate them, choose a dive map. If you want to know what you are looking at underwater, choose a fish ID card. We carry both for several destinations where both exist.

Do you carry dive logbooks and can I get refill pages?

Yes — the 3-ring log binder comes with section dividers and logbook pages and you can add more pages as needed. The binder is also handy for storing your certification cards, dive maps, and other useful information. We also sell logbook pages stapled together on their own if you want something less bulky and travel-friendly.
